What is an ELITE team?

Elite teams are high-level teams that play a more competitive and extensive schedule throughout the year, culminating with AAU Nationals in Orlando in June.  Many of the tournaments are two-day events, with most, if not all, within the state of Michigan.  Hotel stays may be preferred, but are not mandatory.  The team will stay together from December through June.  An extremely high-level of commitment is required for these teams.

What age should my daughter tryout for?  Should I just use her age?

Current age DOES NOT always coincide with USA age divisions.  The Top Gun Volleyball program and the AAU organization abide by the age definitions created by USA Volleyball.  Please refer to the age divisions listed above.

How do I know if I need a new AAU membership??
